Job Description
We currently have an opening for an experienced Field Engineer with experience working in Construction Management for some large scale, fast track projects in the Las Vegas area. The Restaurant & Bar Engineer will have knowledge of commercial construction projects. We are seeking Engineers with previous experience in Restaurant & Bar construction. The qualified candidate will have worked on commercial High-rise, Hospitality and/or Hotel projects and will have knowledge of construction terms and descriptions. Typical duties include: Monitor jobsite safety and take appropriate action. Coordinate revisions to docs with field and subcontractors. Assist Doc Control and Rough-in Engineer. Submit requests for information and expedite answers. Review and submit project specific submittals. Coordinate field operations and shop drawings. Distribute plans and specs. Assist Superintendent with field coordination. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Specific Sub-trade experience: Hollow Metal Doors Metal Studs/Gyp Millwork Flooring Acoustical Fire Sealants Signage Education: High School or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in related field is desired, a combination of Education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree. Experience: 8 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Special skills: Intermediate knowledge of Windows Office Systems. Intermediate skill level with MS Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / Publisher. Advanced skill level with MS Word. Basic knowledge of Prolog software.
